Woods Vs Mickelson Match Confirmed

Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson‘s winner-takes-all $9m match takes place at Shadow Creek GC in Las Vegas on 23rd November.

Woods and Mickelson, along with their caddies, will be mic’d up during the round and also play for money bits like nearest the pin and longest drive.

What time will Woods vs Mickelson play?

The Woods vs. Mickelson is on Saturday, November 23 Shadow Creek GC It will start at 8 pm UK time

How can I buy it and how much will it cost?

The rights for the match have been bought by Warner Media and they will be distributed to the UK market, we believe.

We’re unsure at the moment how exactly you can buy it and tune it, although we do know that it will cost $19.99 in the US.

The $ 9 million will come from sponsors, television rights and fans who pay at home.

That has been criticized, since the initial rumors were that the pair would be increasing the money themselves.

However, not all is bad news as both men and the PGA Tour will donate money to charities.

Mickelson’s agent, Steve Loy, told GolfChannel.com that Lefty will donate portions of the charitable funds to his own charity fund, the Children’s Fund of 58 and the Las Vegas Shriners.

The Children of the 58 Fund was created after the mass shooting in Las Vegas last year and awards scholarships to children whose parents lost their lives in the horrific shooting.

Loy confirmed that more money from media rights will be donated to charities of Mickelson, Woods and the PGA Tour.

“It allows us to be a little more real, so to speak,” Mickelson said after the initial announcement.

“We think there will be a pretty good interest, but we’re also trying to present it in a way that you can not see with normal television.

“With only two boys, we should have a totally different experience with the fans, because we will have smaller crowds that will not necessarily have ropes so they can walk inside the street and near the greens. The idea is not only to have this great game, but to have this interactive experience so that fans can see something they have never seen before in televised golf. ”

Woods and Mickelson had some light jokes on Twitter after the announcement of the game.

Woods and Mickelson joined for the first two rounds of the Player’s Championship this year, where Lefty publicly suggested the game.

In his press conference prior to the tournament, he said: “While I look at the cover of the newspaper and the association is there and the excitement that is taking place here, it makes me think: why do not we skip all the side effects of a tournament and only go head to head and just have a kind of high-stakes game, the winner takes everything? ”

Woods responded with positive comments about the idea. “I’m definitely not against that,” he said.
